Final Submission Date as discussed with Supervisor
Students must submit via their relevant research unit on Canvas.
Prior to Submission
- Your supervisor will arrange your examiners FOUR (4) weeks prior to your submission date. Your examiners will remain anonymous but ahead of this time you can let them know if there is anyone you do not want them to approach, and why.
Submission for Marking
On or prior to your submission date.
- Confirm the final draft for submission with your supervisor.
- Submit the Release of Thesis Form (signed by both you and your supervisor)
- Submit a Word document of your thesis via the ‘FINAL Thesis Submission’ assignment in the relevant thesis site on Canvas.
- Please note that thesis marking for PhD theses can take up to three months owing to the length of theses.
- You will be emailed a result once your thesis has been marked by at least two examiners along with the marking reports and any corrections required.
Final Submission (after receiving your mark)
Once your thesis is marked you will be emailed your grade. At that time you must perform any corrections required and submit your final Microsoft Word copy (as per instructions in the email you receive notifying you of your grade), along with a separate page detailing your corrections.
You will need to share a OneDrive link with your Supervisor containing:
- a digital copy of your final amended thesis in Microsoft Word format
- all supplementary material separate from the bound thesis as part, or in support, of the thesis such as research data including surveys and SPSS/PASW (or other) data file with complete original dataset, any working files used to produce final reported results, SPSS/PASW syntax and final output files, computer printouts, films, models, musical scores, tape recordings etc.
You will also need to share a OneDrive link with education@cairnmillar.edu.au containing:
- a digital copy of your final amended thesis in Microsoft Word format
