To withdraw from (drop) one or more units while remaining enrolled in any other units, please complete the online withdrawal form.
Select the ‘Withdrawal from Specific Units‘ option on the form and follow the instructions.
NOTE: if you are withdrawing from ALL your units of study in a given teaching period, you should follow the instructions for Leave of Absence or Deferral or Withdraw from a Course or Program instead.
If you withdraw before the census date your FEE-HELP will not be added for the withdrawn unit or you can apply for a refund if you paid for your tuition fees upfront by contacting accounts@cainrmillar.edu.au
To be considered on-time a withdrawal must be received before the close of business on the Census Date.
Withdrawal after the census date will normally incur full tuition fees and will be listed as a late withdrawal fail on your transcript. In some circumstances a late remission of FEE-HELP debt or a late refund may be possible after a post-census withdrawal. A separate formal request is required to apply for a fee remission.
You can find current and future census dates on the Academic Calendar or Key Dates. See also: What is the Census Date?
