From 2020 onward Cairnmillar will teach and support free or low cost and open source statistical analysis software (e.g. jamovi and R). For more information see: Statistics Software at Cairnmillar- jamovi and R.
This means that SPSS will no longer be the taught or supported statistical package at Cairnmillar.
A small number of SPSS Premium statistics package and AMOS module are still available to assist with the transition. If you started your course or thesis prior to 2020 please speak with your Thesis Supervisor or contact helpdesk@cairnmillar.edu.au for assistance with this.
Students can still purchase Grad Pack SPSS licences for a discounted rate if you want SPSS on your home computer or personal laptop. However, we strongly encourage all students and graduates to consider free or lower cost alternatives such as jamovi and R.

At the time of updating this article in 2019, the SPSS Base package was $49.95 or the SPSS Standard package (including Advanced Stats and Regression modules) was $70 for student pricing. The AMOS package can also be purchased for $60 at current student pricing.
