Using Databases 1: Mindmaps and keyword searching

Before you access a database, there are a few steps which should be undertaken:

1. Identify and understand your topic
   1. look at every work
   2. identify what the task is asking
   3. ask for assistance if you need it
2. Use key word searching OR mindmapping to identify the best words to use for your search.
