First, please check whether the results release date has passed. Sometimes results for individual units may be published before all results have been finalised.
Please also note that it can take up to 12 hours on the results release date for all results to become fully visible. If today is the results release date, we recommend waiting a few hours and checking again.
If your results are still not visible after this time, you can also try:
- Refreshing your browser;
- Closing and reopening your browser; or
- Accessing the portal using a different browser.

Check for any announcements
Next, check the results announcement notice on Canvas. This notice is usually posted on or just before the day results are officially released.
If there is a delay affecting an entire class or unit, this will generally be communicated through the announcement or a notice within the relevant unit section of Canvas.
Check the type of unit
Please also check whether the unit is a Thesis or Placement unit. These units have different completion and results timelines and may take longer to finalise.
If you have been granted an extension or special consideration, your result may also be released later than the standard results release date. Please allow additional time for your result to be finalised.

Still waiting for your result?
If the unit is a taught unit (standard class), you can contact the relevant lecturer or Course Coordinator to clarify the status of your result and whether it may have been withheld for any reason.
If you do not receive a response from your lecturer within 5–10 working days, please contact education@cairnmillar.edu.au and we can investigate the matter further.
