Student ID cards are available upon request.
If you would like to order a student ID card, or renew an expired card, please submit the Student ID Card Request Form.
All on-campus students must collect their ID cards from campus and all other online students are also encouraged to collect their IDs in person. On-campus students who request to have their ID card mailed will incur a $30 mailing fee, but these charges will be waived for online students where required. Any out-of-state or overseas postage may incur additional mailing fees as well as delivery times. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Student Services.
Student ID cards must be worn at all times on campus.
ID Cards for New Students
If this is your first time studying at Cairnmillar, you will be able to get a Student ID Card. Whether you are a student studying online or on-campus, students can apply for a Student ID card for free along with a parking sticker (if required). This is in exchange for a signed Student Conduct Agreement.
ID cards are required to identify both staff and students and control access into Cairnmillar’s facilities, for the safety and well-being of students and staff. Student ID cards are to be worn at all times while accessing buildings, library, carparks and other facilities if required.
Updating an Expired Student ID Card
Updating an expired Student ID Card is free where your enrollment is formally continuing (i.e., you commence another course at Cairnmillar or move to part-time study). You will need to complete the Student ID Card Request Form. See also: How to contact Reception?
If you think you should be entitled to a free card (e.g. old card is worn out, change of name, gender transition, etc.) you can contact education@cairnmillar.edu.au to request approval for a waiver of the above cost/s.
Replacement ID Cards
If your student ID card has been misplaced, replacement cards, lanyards and holders can also be obtained from Reception for a small fee. See also: How to contact Reception?
The following costs apply for replacement ID cards:
- $5 new lanyard
- $5 new card holder
- $10 replacement ID card
- $30 mailing fee
