Academic Integrity and Progress Committee (AIPC)

TheĀ Academic Integrity and Progress Committee (AIPC) is a sub-committee of the Academic Board and is normally chaired by the Head of School.

The AIPC are the people who review incidents of possible plagiarism and other breaches of academic or research integrity, such as collusion or cheating in exams.

The AIPC also support students who have poor academic performance or are at risk of failing a course through an academic progress intervention and Student Progress Agreements.

Where the AIPC forms a panel to review a student or incident, then the majority of members of the panel must have no actual or perceived conflict of interest for the student.

The AIPC administer the Academic Progress and Review Policy (AC004) and the Academic Integrity and Student Conduct Policy (AC013).
