Student Assistance Program with New View Psychology

In partnership with New View Psychology, Cairnmillar provides a Student Assistance Program (SAP) for all enrolled students.  Students can access three sessions completely free. The SAP is a voluntary, confidential and complimentary counselling service which is dedicated to providing new and existing Cairnmillar students with free and confidential counselling services to help with their mental health and well-being during their studies. 

New View Psychology is based in Victoria and provide either face to face or Telehealth appointments for the student’s convenience. They have a wide variety of clinicians, so we are confident that you will have more options and more choice of where to go and who you would like to see.

To make an appointment, students can either phone 1300 830 687 (select option 1 or 2) or they can submit a booking enquiry to make an appointment. When first making your appointment, students will need to let New View Psychology know that they are an enrolled student at Cairnmillar requesting to access the Student Assistance Program.

Can Students Access the Cairnmillar Clinics?

Unfortunately, no. Current students and their family members are not unable to access the Cairnmillar Clinics or the Cairnmillar Community Clinic. This is to avoid any actual or perceived conflicts of interest. We encourage students to use our Student Assistance Program with New View Psychology if counselling or psychological services are needed to support you during your studies.
