In late January each year, Cairnmillar will send an official list of all enrolled students directly to AHPRA for the following programs:
- Master of Professional Psychology (MPP)
- Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology)
- Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Psychology)
This is an automatic process that occurs late January each year. There is no requirement for students to request this (unless it falls outside of this cycle) and it is at no extra cost to the student. In majority of cases, new and continuing students can wait do not need to do anything to have their enrolment confirmed with AHPRA. A second update of confirmation will typically occur prior to census for any late or waitlist enrolments, as well as a final update of confirmation after census date of Semester 1 for withdrawals only.
A caution: Enrolment Confirmation is a high-volume and very busy time for AHPRA as they receive this information from dozens of education providers. AHPRA have guided us that, for around 10% of student cases, they may lose or unable to locate enrolment evidence, even if evidence is sent as a batch and the rest of the batch is processed. If AHPRA insist that they do not have your enrolment confirmation, you must email Student Services (education@cairnmillar.edu.au) and include the email address for your AHPRA case manager so it can be emailed to them directly.
MPPP Enrolment for AHPRA
Students of the Master of Professional Psychology Practice (6th year internship) do not need enrolment confirmation for AHPRA. Please speak with your Course and Placement Coordinator for assistance with registration and internship placement plan matters for this course.
