How to withdraw from a unit or subject

To withdraw from (drop) one or more units while remaining enrolled in any other units, please complete the online withdrawal form.

Select the ‘Withdraw from Unit/s‘ option on the form and follow the instructions.

NOTE: if you are withdrawing from ALL your units of study in a given teaching period, you should follow the instructions for Leave of Absence or Deferral or Withdraw from a Course or Program instead.

If you withdraw before the census date, your FEE-HELP will not be added for the withdrawn unit or you can apply for a refund if you paid for your tuition fees Upfront by contacting accounts@cainrmillar.edu.au

To be considered on time, a withdrawal must be received before the close of business on the Census Date.

Withdrawal after the census date will normally incur full tuition fees and will be listed as a late withdrawal fail on your transcript. In some circumstances a late remission of FEE-HELP debt or a late refund may be possible after a post-census withdrawal. A separate formal request is required to apply for a fee remission.
