What is the difference between Learning Equity and Student Learning Support?

We are committed to supporting all students throughout their own individual academic journeys, and there are a number of similar resources that may be available to you depending on your circumstances and challenges.

For students who have an accessibility need, disability, or ongoing medical or mental health condition, the Learning Equity Officer is available to provide learning adjustments and academic modifications to support your ability to engage fully and equitably in your studies and learning without the impact of any accessibility barriers. You can contact them for support on applying for or implementing a Learning Access Plan, or for other conversations regarding Learning Equity or other supports.

In addition to this, all students can access academic skills resources and study support through the Student Learning Support Advisor, who is available to provide online resources, workshops and consultations to help students build study strategies and other academic skills. You can contact them for support through an individual consultation or attending online workshops, or access a number of resources on demand to help you build your knowledge and development.
