The Inclusivity and Diversity Advisory (IDA) Committee was formed to actively promote cultural safety, diversity and inclusivity at the Cairnmillar Institute workplace, teaching, and clinic spaces. It provides a forum for inclusivity and diversity consultation between students, staff, and management, and works to identify and advise on organisational and systemic barriers to an inclusive workplace.
The committee includes members from academic, administrative and clinic staff, as well as representatives from the student body. IDA aims for a membership that is diverse in age, race, ethnicity, gender, ability, and political beliefs.
We encourage students, staff, and other members of the CMI community to contact any of the IDA members if they have any suggestions or feedback regarding inclusivity and diversity at CMI.
