This item only deals with obtaining a discounted rate for your police check. The discounted police check price is normally only possible if you apply by post.

To get your police check request form signed and the Community Volunteer Fee (CVF) discount number please bring your otherwise completed police check form to Reception, who will confirm your enrolment and add the Cairnmillar CVF number to your form. This will allow you to obtain a police check at the discounted rate.
If you plan to apply for a CVF discount for your police check please do this as early as possible. The overall paper based police check process can take up to two weeks or more to be completed before you receive your police check.
We cannot add the CVF electronically. You must come in and have the form signed at reception to get the reduced rate or send it to us with a stamped self-addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you (note we do NOT recommend this as it takes some time). We apologise for any inconvenience.
You can normally only get the CVF discounted fee is you apply for your check directly with Vic Police, see: Police Checks on police.vic.gov.au. Most other police check services do not offer the CVF discount.
NOTE: you do not need to complete the CVF application form. Only the police check application form. Cairnmillar already has a CVF number and this is not something you need to request on our behalf. If you have a form asking for our ABN or other corporate details, you probably have the wrong form or you are trying to use a professional checking service which will charge a higher fee.
Postage: we recommend that you use registered post for your application form so that you know when your form is received by Vic Police.
