Basics
The Cairnmillar Institute will uphold its core values and commitment to an environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment. Forms of behaviour which may initially appear mild or trivial may constitute as discrimination, bullying or harassment, particularly where there is a relationship of power or formal inequality of personal status between individuals. It is also important to know that it is against the law to engage in sexual harassment, or harass and/or discriminate on the basis of one’s ethnicity, sex, gender, age, or religion. An example of this is the Equal Opportunities Act 2010.
