2026 Census Dates
- Semester 1 – 09 March 2026
- Semester 2 – 03 August 2026
The census date is the last date to withdraw from a unit without financial or academic penalty. It is also the date after which FEE-HELP and government enrolment reports are finalised and sent to the DET and ATO. You can submit any applications or requests due on Census Date up to 5pm on that date.
All placements and work based learning must commence before the census date in a relevant enrolment period. If you cannot commence active placement before your census date you should ask to transfer your enrolment to a later enrolment period with an early start if necessary.
Each semester or teaching period will have an official census date which will apply to all unit enrolments undertaken during that semester of study. You can find current and future census dates on the Academic Calendar here.
You can also view the census date for a specific past or current unit enrolment in the unit history record in Paradigm. You do this the same way as checking your final results.
