Restricted Access Private Parking – 2025 Details
A small number of car spaces in the restricted access lower basement (via Gate 2 and below the main parking area, swipe card required) are now available to rent. There are an even smaller number of tandem parks available. However, you will need to find another student to rent the space with before you apply and you will be responsible for coordinating all tandem parking matters (e.g. moving cars for different start or end times) directly between you. As these are very limited in number and are access controlled reserved spaces, they are normally priced $1800 per year or $500 per quarter.
We have negotiated a discounted student only rate for 2025 but will still be offering spaces to local businesses as well.
One space:
- $330 for the duration of Semester One (until 29 June)
- $330 for the duration of Semester Two (14 July to 16 November)
Tandem (two spaces):
- $550 for the duration of Semester One (until 29 June)
- $550 for the duration of Semester 2 (14 July to 16 November)
The available spaces are very limited and will be first come first served.
If you choose to hire a reserved space in the lower basement a laminated card will be printed with your registration number(s) or name (optional). You will also be provided with an access card for the basement. If the access card is lost or stolen there is a replacement fee ($150).
If you are interested in sharing a reserved tandem space with another student then you must contact us together. We cannot assist you with finding or coordinating shared spaces. Two passes will be provided with the reserved space, and a sign will be printed with both registration numbers. Reception will not be able to provide support for moving cars or contacting another student for you.
